Solar PV Practitioner Certification

Cares Academy has launched the Solar PV Practitioner certification program with the objective of providing a hands-on comprehensive exposure to all aspects of Solar Power Plant design, component selection, installation, commissioning and maintenance. Any participant who completes the 10 day certification course spread across 2 weeks will be able to answer the following questions:

How to design a Solar Power Plant from scratch?

How will I select components for a Solar Power Plant?

Which type of Solar PV system is suited for my customer?

Why are some solar panels and inverters more expensive than others?

How will I compare different Solar Power Plants and Technologies?

How to design and install a Solar Power Plant, which will last 25 years?

The two weeks Solar PV practitioner training program is conducted in collaboration with SRATI, Coimbatore. Participants will be given exposure to different types of solar inverters and modules installed in SRATI. Each day will be accompanied by hands-on design and commissioning of solar power plant to give participants an understanding of all practical aspects of Solar PV design, installation and commissioning. The program is scheduled for two weeks from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm (except National Holidays). The content covered in each day is summarised in table below:

Off Grid solar inverter, power conditioning unit, Batteries, KPIs, design, & commissioning

Day - 8

Wednesday

Structure, cabling, conduiting, earthing and lightning protection

Day - 9

Thursday

Site Survey, Solar Plant Installation, Site Visit, Quality Checks, Solar Operations and Maintenance

Day - 10

Friday

Key benefits and risks of solar plant, costing of components, returns calculation

HANDS-ON EXPOSURE TO SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES

Participants will be exposed to different types of solar inverters and modules installed in STRATI. Each day will be accompanied by hands-on design and commissioning of solar power plant to give participants an understanding of all practical aspects of Solar PV design, installation and commissioning.

The Solar Training Centre at SRATI has the facilities below so that the participants can explore and learn all practical aspects of a Solar Power Plant design, installation and commissioning:

Advanced and Basic String inverters with distribution box on DC and AC side

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE FOR TRAINING

We have incorporated some flexibility into the training program. During registration, participants can register for a single day or for the entire two weeks. Single day registration is meant for participants who want to explore the program or attend only a specific days program. The registration is valid for one year, and participants can attend the program at their convenience. For example, a personnel who registered for two weeks program may choose to attend for 2 days in April, 2 days in May, 1 day in June, and 5 days in December.

The Fees for 1 day training is 2,500+18% GST
